By sending a submission to Haunts and History, you agree to these terms and conditions below, unless otherwise prohibited by applicable law. These terms and conditions govern all rights between you and Haunts and History, Inc.
You may submit photos, artwork, videos, or other original materials to Haunts and History, Inc by the submissions link below. Once you have submitted your materials to Haunts and History, Inc. it becomes the property of Haunts and History, Inc and you are agreeing to the use of said submissions.
Eligibility to submit materials: You must be 18 years of age and a US citizen or a legal resident of the US to contribute a submission to Haunts and History, Inc.
Rights and Use of your submissions to Haunts and History, Inc: When submission is sent to Haunts and History, Inc. you are granting licensees and assigns worldwide, royalty free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, and fully sub-licensable and assignable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, edit, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display your submission (in whole or part) in and/ or in connection with any Haunts and History, Inc. advertising, promotion and publicity, in any form, in any and all media now of hereinafter devised, in perpetuity. It is the sole discretion of Haunts and History, Inc. to post or mention your first name, last name, city and or state, in connection with use of your submission, without additional credit, compensation, notification, permission or approval. By making a submission, you waive any moral rights of authors, doit moral, and/or any right under the Visual Artist Right Act.
Rules for the Submissions: Your submission must be original and created by you. It must be truthful. You cannot submit any material that contains the following; obscene, offensive libelous, defamatory, tortious, derogatory, unlawful or otherwise inappropriate material. Also do not send submissions that contain music, or confidential information or could identify a third party in any way. Do not infringe on anyone’s rights in anyway, including but not limited to, copyright, trademark, privacy and publicity rights, or violate any other laws, this includes trespass. Do not trespass on anyone’s property….
By making any submissions to Haunts and History, Inc., you represent that your submission will comply with all the above rules and agree you are solely and entirely responsible for any and all submissions and the consequences of your submissions. You also agree that your submission does not reflect the views of haunts and History, Inc. You assume all liability for any injury or damages caused or claimed to be caused by your submission, and you agree indemnify, release and hold harmless Haunts and History, Inc., and their sponsors, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, licensees and assigns, and their respective officers, directors, agents, equity holders, and employees from any and all claims, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, expenses (this means attorney’s fees also!), injuries or causes of action whatsoever that in any way are caused by, arise out of or result from, your creation and submission, the exercise of any rights or permissions granted herein, the inclusion of the submission to Haunts and History, Inc. or any other work, the distributions, exhibition, publication, or other exploitation of Haunts and History, Inc or any other work, or the use of your submission or any works derived from your submission, on any legal theory whatsoever, including but not limited to, claims of idea misappropriation, copyright infringement, trademark infringement, unauthorized use of name and/ or likeness, invasion of privacy and defamation. You acknowledge and agree you are solely responsible for any injury or damage you may incur as a result of submitting you submission, including by way of submitting to any person’s computer or mobile device or entering of downloading materials or software in connection with said submission. Haunts and History, Inc. are not responsible for telecommunication, network, electronic, technical or computer failures, or human error of any kind, for inaccurate transcription of submissions, or for submissions that are stolen, misdirected, garbled, delayed, lost, late, or damaged.
Once your submission is sent to Haunts and History, Inc, to is considered submitted and the above terms and conditions will apply. We will review each submission for indecency. Any submission that is considered to be obscene, pornographic, libelous, hate speech, or otherwise objectionable, in whole or part, will be disqualified.
Once you make a submission, you are acknowledging that Haunts and History, Inc will rely on the permissions, representations, and rights set forth in the above terms and conditions. Due to the potentially substantial cost to Haunts and History, Inc, you hereby agree not to assert any claim of any nature whatsoever against anyone relating to the exercise of the rights and permissions granted herein.

Haunts and History, Inc are not responsible for the storage or any use of your entry information by those third parties.
When making a submission to Haunts and History, Inc, you are acknowledging and agree to your relationship is not confidential, fiduciary, or other special relationship, and you decision to provide your submission to Haunts and History, Inc. is not any different from the position held by the general public. You understand that Haunts and History Inc have wide access to ideas, stories, designs, and other literary materials, and new ideas are constantly being submitted or being developed. You also acknowledge many ideas or stories may be competitive with, similar or identical to your submission in theme, idea, plot, format, or other respects. You agree that you are not entitled to any compensation as a result of any use of any such similar or identical material. You acknowledge and agree Haunts and History, Inc do not now and will not have any duty or liability, direct or indirect, vicarious, contributory, or otherwise, with respect to the infringement or protection of any copyright in and to the submission or any element thereof.
By making a submission you are acknowledging you have read and understand the terms and conditions above and agree that they are subject to change and farther agree to those provisions herein. You also understand that is the sole right and decision of Haunts and History, Inc. to use or decline your submissions.
